Start Thanksgiving Day with a great 58-mile ride and get home before the feast begins! We'll be meeting up here at the Ride Studio Cafe at 7am and follow this route:
This is an intermediate ride, with the pace being ~17-18mph (it's a base-building, fat-burning kind of ride).
The Studio is closed on Thanksgiving, but the doors will be open to riders before and after the ride! If this ride is too long to fit your schedule, feel free to do the portion that works for you.
RSVPs are appreciated but not required. We're looking forward to riding with you!
This will be the evening for all who love fixies, single-speeds and bikes that double as works of art. This exhibit is open to all types of fixed-gear and single-speed bikes. Bring your favorite single-speed bike, enter it into the exhibit - for free, and you may just ride away with one of a number of great prizes. Full Details are available, check out the Event Page! See some incredible examples of functional bikes as artistic expressions of riders' passion. Other reasons to attend include:
- Prizes: Judging will be done by all participants. We've got several categories in which to participate.
- Party: We're doing the usual RSC shindig. Only bigger!
- Rally Rabbit Ride: Believe it or not, there are a few alleys and other non-conventional places to ride in Lexington. We're going to do a night ride at 10pm; don't miss it. This is not a race, it's just a very interesting roll. Bring lights. (Bikes with more than one gear are welcome to participate, too, during this portion of the evening.)
RSVP to attend the evening and/or to enter your bike into the exhibit.
Not to rush too quickly into 2012, but it's going to be a great year where it comes to new, beautiful bikes! We're hosting a special evening to introduce you to some prototypes of 2012 Seven bicycles, to showcase some old favorites, including a classic pre-Seven bike. This is the first time the fabled Berliner Bike is making an appearance at the Studio. Some Seven employees are even being gracious enough to loan us their personal bikes to have on display during the evening. Mark your calendar for Saturday, Nov. 5th from 7-10pm. Full details (and there are a lot of them) have been posted!
