A lot has happened in the past ten years here at Ride Studio Cafe! We are really looking forward to the next ten with you! We have had the great privilege to serve you throughout the years.
We've had the awesome opportunity to work with you on very cool new bikes, to see you ride these bikes to achieving big goals, getting into new categories of cycling, riding further than you ever thought possible, to spending a lot of quality time with others upon those bikes.
We have seen so many friendships made through the thousands of group rides that have happened here. We've shared in your joy at the end of the rides and we've been there with a towel and hot drink on the days you rode under dark skies.
While the store generally looks the same since it did from the beginning, you've seen the art on the walls change over the years, having special art opening parties to celebrate the culture and art surrounding bike building. There have been numerous parties for so many occasions. From fundraisers to new product launches, we've celebrated almost everything together. Some of you have even celebrated special birthdays here.
Many of you have come to rely on the Cafe to serve you nearly daily or at least weekend-ly coffee, tea, and a pleasant exchange with our baristas. We have gotten to know many of you as family who have made a ritual of coming in for drinks and conversation.

We will be celebrating our tenth birthday all year this year, there is a lot more than memories to share with you tied to this landmark year.
Store Update
Two weeks ago, we closed the Cafe to keep employees and you safe. Shortly thereafter we went to appointment-only hours in the Bike Shop.
While bike shops have been deemed essential in Massachusetts, we are sticking to appointment-only remote bike sales and essential service until we hear the "all clear." Health and safety for you, our community at large, and for employees is our top priority.
What can you do right now? A lot. Please ask if you are curious about whether or not we can do something. You'd be impressed at how much we can accomplish together over the phone and email. And you'll end up with something awesome cycling-wise.
Ride your bike
Everyone has to choose for him/herself the best approach to staying healthy and active throughout this while following state guidance strictly. A solo ride executed safely has benefits to your health and for your immune system.

Most of our suppliers, including Rapha, have changed their policies in their very strong interest in keeping bike shops strong and available to you once the pandemic has passed. Garmin and many others are offering for us to purchase from them, and they are shipping the items directly to you. ALL of our suppliers want you to buy from us and not an online website store. They and most of you strongly believe we are vital to the cycling community. Tell us you feel the same by sending us your orders for quick fulfillment.
Buy Virtual Gift Cards
We have gift cards for sale, both in plastic and virtual, which are valid for everything from cafe drinks to bike shop items including bikes, components, wheels, accessories, apparel, etc.
We have accounts with more suppliers than most large bike shops and we're more familiar with the not-as-huge-brand components since we build bikes from the ground up and have become exceptionally knowledgeable of how to do really cool things on bikes.
Examples include: proper specification and building handbuilt wheels, wiring generator lights into a bike, achieving lower gearing than you'd think possible, taking the best of shifting and braking from various suppliers and harmonizing them on bikes, looking closely at your riding style, your comfort level with maintenance, how far off the grid you'll be riding, etc. and advising for your specific needs. This list goes on and on.
Take advantage of extended financing
Through the end of April, anything you wish to purchase in the bike shop may be done via Synchrony Sport financing on a 12-month, zero interest basis. We always offer 9-month financing, but now this is extended. Email us for details of the program and how you can apply. This doesn't cost you anything more and this makes it easy for you get a bike this spring to be enjoying all season and for many years into the future.
Thank you - A Personal Note
We very sincerely wish the best for you and your family and friends at this time. This is not a time that is easy for anyone. Please ask us for anything you need. Staying on your bike whether indoors or outside is important. This is the time for all of us to act responsibly, take care of our neighbors, do our part to not spread the virus, and to keep a positive attitude. The future will be here soon enough, "normal" will return in some form, and the summer is around the corner. We are all in this together, and we will stay together, if we all help each other out, keeping the future in mind.

We are working as hard as we can to reopen as soon as we can. We'll send personal thank yous at a later date once we've gotten through this.
